Connect and File Transfer¶
Course Description¶
This course is part of the NAISS training programme, aimed at beginners and is delivered by staff at UPPMAX.
In this interactive 3-hour workshop, you will learn how to connect to and transfer files to and from Swedish academic HPC clusters. The workshop focuses on practical, hands-on use of terminal-based and graphical-based log in and file transfer with a terminal or graphical tool.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- understand the basics of NAISS HPC clusters
- connect to a NAISS HPC cluster
- transfer files to/from a NAISS HPC cluster
Target Audience¶
This workshop is intended for new users that have followed the Linux Command Line 101 course, which conveniently takes place just before this course.
You do not need to be a member of a NAISS project in order to attend. Temporary access to a course project on a NAISS cluster will be provided.
